Hotel Zlata ribica - a perfect location for flyfishing

Hotel Zlata ribica is an excellent choice for fishermen.
Close to the hotel, in the area of five kilometers there are four beautiful rivers, suitable for fly fishing in the Tolminska region.

Idrijca River flows right in front of the hotel entrance. Most of the rooms and apartments have a view over this beautiful river, flowing only thirty (30) meters from the hotel.

Soča River and its lake are located four kilometers from the hotel.

Bača River flows a kilometer away, therefore within a walking distance.

Trebušica River flows five kilometers from the hotel, therefore it is the most distant of the said rivers.

All these rivers are a natural habitat for Soča trout, brook trout and their crossbreeds, rainbow trout and grayling, which is very appreciated by fishermen. On prior arrangement, we organize transport and guides to all the said and also more distant rivers.

It is possible to fish in the lake from the boat we provide for.

Fishing season lasts from April until the end of October, thereof the high season between May and June, the time when many insects fly over the rivers.

You can get additional information with regard to fishing rules and with regard to the prices for fishing license at the fishing society Tolmin.

    You can reach all the secret spots on the river, without searching for the parking place. Reservation needed.

    No problem, we will rent you equipment: rod, reel, waders. Reservation needed.
  • Guides: from 60 eur/ 4 hours
    Just local guides! Our guides speak Slovene, English or Italian.  Reservation needed.

Transfers from airport can be organized. The price depends on number of persons.
